Lazerbeam is one of the few installers that is capable of providing approved fire detection and alarm systems alongside your traditional security systems. Our Fire systems meets or exceed all the widely recognised industry standards including the BAFE SP203 scheme making us one of the leading Fire integrators in the UK.

Lazerbeam is an NSI Gold approved company for the installation of fire detection systems which means our installations meet the NSI standards for their design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of our fire detection and alarm systems, fire suppression systems and the supply and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. In addition, we offer certified systems for Fire alarm monitoring through NSI Gold Alarm Receiving Centres.

Fire Risk Assessment

Lazerbeam fire specialists are fully qualified to undertake Fire Risk Assessments to the BAFE SP205 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Scheme. This means your business will be covered under the Fire Safety Order of 2005 which covers non-domestic premises and demands that a ‘responsible person’ undertake a fire safety risk assessment and then designs and implements a fire management plan. This is a specialist service that we offer to support the advice of the NSI who advise businesses to appoint the services of an external fire safety specialist.

Contract Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers.

We comply with the SP101 fire extinguisher maintenance requirements and the Regulatory Fire Safety Order. As an approved service provider, we can ensure our service personnel have proven competency in fire extinguisher service and maintenance.

Lazerbeam meet all the requirements as set out in the BAFE SP101 Scheme. We also comply with the ISO 9001 requirements for the BAFE SP101 scheme. Additional considerations include:

  • Fire Extinguishers are manufactured to BS EN 3
  • Siting and servicing is undertaken to Codes of Practice BS 5306 part 8 and BS 5306 Part 3

Fire Detection and Alarm Systems

Lazerbeam are a gold approved installer to the SP203 standard which was written and developed by Fire industry professionals and was officially launched by BAFE in July 2002.

The SP203 Scheme provides the confidence to system users and the Fire authorities that the companies providing fire alarm systems, have processes in place to effectively undertake such activities within their provision of Fire services.

The Scheme specifies the conditions to be met by certified providers, such as Lazerbeam which includes the requirements that companies with more than one operational office must meet the standards of SP203-1 across their entire estate and are separately listed and certified.
